Located on Cape Cod with a waterfront setting, MMA offers an affordable 4
year co-educational state college experience. The approximately 800 men and
women have in common an interest in hands-on activities, an aptitude for
mathematics and science, leadership potential, and an interest in, or
experience on, the ocean.
State-of-the-art facilities and superior faculty
promote unequalled success in placement (100%) for its seniors. Majors are
in Marine Transportation (management), Marine Engineering, Facilities and
Environmental Engineering, and Marine Safety and Environmental Protection.
Starting salaries exceed $50,000 (sea-going) and $31,000 (ashore). In
addition to a Bachelor of Science degree and a professional license,
students can expect to achieve a sense of self-confidence and
competence-personal qualities important to success in any career. The
Academy's annual training cruise takes students to foreign lands.
